POLISH AMERICAN CONGRESS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

At the Polish American Congress National Council of Directors recent meeting, it was reported that the PAC Charitable Foundation is offering scholarships to college students.

On the right there is the information cover letter and the application form.  We encourage you to notify your members of this scholarship program and please feel free to make copies for those interested.

Please note in the application that we are  requiring recipients of a scholarship to become a member of the Polish American Congress if they are not already.

SCHOLARSHIP

Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation

Qualifications:

1. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of American and of  Polish ancestry.
2. Applicant must be a fulltime student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.
3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
4. Applicant must become a member of their local PAC Division or if none in their area, then a member thru the National PAC.

Application:

1. Completion of a PACCF Scholarship application.
2. Submit a resume, including
1. The name and relationship to you of the nearest family member (s) from whom you ascribe your Polish ancestry.
2. A description of your academic and career goals.
3. Submit an original certificate of your most recent transcript, including an original certified copy of your GPA.
4. Submit a description of your personal involvement in the community.

Scholarship Award:

The amount of scholarships will be between $1,000.00 and $2,500.00 as determined by the Scholarship Committee.

Note:

All scholarships payments will be sent directly to the college or university that the applicant will be attending.
